You need an uncooked egg to go with it and those break so easily that they aren't very portable. Most workplaces have a microwave that you can heat it up with and maybe a refrigerator to store it in, but the problem comes in with the egg. You'd think something like this would be. This shouldn't be surprising though since the recipe does only call for one egg to be added, although it does have directions for adding two eggs if you'd like. If you're having it for breakfast, you're probably going to want to either eat two of them or have something else on the side, like fruit, oatmeal, or toast. Sometimes what separates the haves from the have nots is just simple common sense and math. That's FAR less than $2, and consider that the actual cost considering the egg is not included is $2.04.īut more power to the company that makes these that they have found yet ANOTHER product to sucker consumer's that either don't pay attention or don't care to part with their money. My total cost for making one HUGE batch of scrambled eggs? $4.84! If I broke this down into 12 servings, this would be only 40 cents per serving. One potato (at 10 lbs for $3.99) 20 cents IF I scrambled a dozen eggs, added in some onion, some green pepper, even a little bit of sausage for good measure, some shredded cheese, and maybe a little fried potato, here is my breakdown. It's just a container with some cut up vegetables, maybe a little cheese, maybe a little onion or meat.
And by the way, it doesn't come with the egg. It's basically just scrambled eggs for crying out loud.
And while I can see where these might be handy on the go, it is just incredibly stupid, if you ask me, to buy these things. What in the world? These tiny little containers are hardly a meal. My brother in law, in fact, is one of them. Who in the world would BUY this? Who in the world would SPEND their hard earned money on this HIGHLY overpriced product?īut lo and behold there are people who do. There are so many times I see products come to the market and think, what a TERRIBLE waste of money.
